There’s a lot of talk about “cancel culture” these days but I believe the worst form of “cancel culture” is when you don’t just lose your job, but get framed, labeled an enemy of the state, and threatened with life in prison for simply speaking truth to power. That’s what happened to Tom when he blew the whistle on the fraud, waste, and abuse of the government’s illegal mass warrantless surveillance program.
