Thousands of Americans are telling Congress to force the vote on Medicare for All. I’ve watched hundreds of #MyStory videos of people advocating for #ForceTheVote. This is just a small sample. Their stories are horrifying and sad. But their determination is inspiring.
I made the vid for Jimmy Dore & the People Party’s Town Hall.
AOC says she can’t get a floor vote for Medicare for All. But that’s no longer the case. She and the other progressive Dems can force a vote by threatening to withhold their vote from Nancy Pelosi for Speaker of the House. It’s a solid strategy that the past AOC endorsed!
The Medicare for All vote will be a success even if it doesn’t pass. We will get to see who really supports M4A and who doesn’t. Forcing a vote also forces the issue to be taken seriously. …
The famous Washington Post reporter Bob Woodward made his career publishing government secrets. But today he could go to jail for publishing government secrets. Because the Trump administration has issued the first indictment in history charging a publisher for publishing government secrets.
That publisher is Wikileaks’ former editor in chief, Julian Assange. He now faces life in prison for leaks he published back in 2010, from Private Manning, that revealed war crimes and government lies.
Many have the wrong impression that Assange was simply indicted for hacking. But the reality is 17 of the 18 counts against Assange are…
JAMES GOODALE, former executive vice president, vice chairman, and general counsel of The New York Times is best known for leading the NYT to victory in the famous free-press-threatening Pentagon Papers case. In his book, “Fighting for the Press”, he warned about the danger of the government bringing a similar case against Julian Assange of Wikileaks. Well, today the government has done just that.
Julian Assange currently faces life in prison for publishing information that revealed evidence of war crimes and exposed government lies. Now, 10 yrs after the publishing the material, the government has yet to prove the publications have harmed a single individual. Many call this historic case a serious threat to the freedom of the press.

There’s a lot of talk about “cancel culture” these days but I believe the worst form of “cancel culture” is when you don’t just lose your job, but get framed, labeled an enemy of the state, and threatened with life in prison for simply speaking truth to power. That’s what happened to Tom when he blew the whistle on the fraud, waste, and abuse of the government’s illegal mass warrantless surveillance program.
I had the honor of speaking with Drake about his incredible story.
I recommend this story for anyone concerned about America’s move towards Fascism. We all know…
I applaud those working for social justice but there are some so-called social justice warriors that poison all hope for any real positive change. They are those who mindlessly hurl false accusations of bigotry upon anyone they disagree with. One of these belligerent hateful people is Melissa Byrne, the former California Grassroots Director for the Bernie Sanders campaign.
Madness ensued yesterday after I retweeted the news that Sara Pearl Kenigsberg, a high level Bernie 2020 staffer, announced her new job working for the Joe Biden campaign.
Out of nowhere Byrne, who proclaims to be “always fighting for someone…
Just the other day, Reddit removed thousands of communities, deleting every single word typed in the groups’ long histories, for violating the social media site’s new hate speech rules. Some of these communities called “subreddits” had hundreds of thousands of regular users sharing memes and exchanging comments.
One of those subreddits was r/ChapoTrapHouse, a large group of fans dedicated to the left-wing podcast, Chapo Trap House. I asked CTH co-host, Amber Frost, what she thought of the removal.
Amber: At this point I don’t have anything particularly original to say about it. The tech companies that regulate these platforms don’t…
